to regret is to rebuke knowledge

About Me

Hmmm, I enjoy short walks on the beach and conversations that last until four o'clock in the morning. My friends and family are by far the most important people in my life. I'm almost consistently the same person regardless of who's observing, the only exception being job interviews of course. I also wash my hands probably about... hmm... give or take sixty times a day. I'm a bit of a cynic, although I try my best to give most people the benefit of the doubt, it's proven time and time again that humans are inherently evil. It's not our fault, really.

My Interests

Playing in the rain, traveling, seeing things from new perspectives, trying to capture the beauty of life through a lens , conveying emotions through music and literature, attempting to experience all that I can. Gathering wisdom and learning from mistakes. Living life for its moments, the awesome and the injurious. I live to learn, therefore I draw from every source possible as much knowledge that I possibly can. I so very much enjoy traveling. It's a pitty I'm not able to do it as often as I'd like. Indentured slavery at Delta and all...

I'd like to meet:

Someone who doesn't cause me to entertain thoughts of homicide. But I'd totally settle for getting to pick my late grandmother's brain for a bit. She was quite a lady, I've heard.

Music:

Love them And them Music is an essential part of my life. I'm not prejudiced when it comes to genres... except maybe gangsta rap... word. The one song I could listen on repeat for the rest of my life is Cute without the 'E' by Taking Back Sunday. Best song ever PERIOD (the (.) needed that amount of stress.

Movies:

Batteries Not Included, Forrest Gump, Apollo 13, For the Birds (It's a short film), Crimson Tide, Friday Night Lights, Mulan, French Kiss, The Ref, Shawshank Redemption and basically anything with Kate in it. Too many to list. My unbridled passion and absolute devotion are directed to this unattainable celebrity Mmmkay, I dunno what my deal is... but this man is INCREDIBLY attractive to me. He defines male appeal.

Television:

Hmm, Scrubs, The Office, Will and Grace OH AND REBA... I'm a surivorrrrrrr. However, you won't find me in front of the old tube very often. Therefore, there has not been a show that I've watched religiously since Fraggle Rock.

Books:

I read a good bit... mostly Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child. I like books that make you think and use a wide vocabulary. Illusions by Richard Bach. Amazing. Life altering.

Heroes:

My dad and Special Agent Pendergast.

Something trite and SOOO uncharacteristic.

You pull me forward, and in my slightly inebriated state I allow my balance to falter. My hands press suddenly flat on the cool texture of the wall on either side of your head, presumably to regain my...

Nostalgia
