Allusive

Allusive is a duo made by Guido Durante and Nico. It comes from the common passion for the clubs and the music. The project born at the end of December 2007 and actually they are going to print their first release named “Frail Shadow”. They play both dj set and live set. Guido Durante was born in 1982 in north-east Italy. Always passionate about music, he developed a strong interest for electronic sounds thanks to the productions of the mid-nineties he discovered listening to local radio stations and mixtapes. In the same years he started to take piano lessons and practising with decks and vinyls, mainly playing techno music. He soon took the next step and got heavily into production too, shifting himself from record collector to audio manipulation addict. After some experiments,in summer 2007 he released his first production "Choose Life"on Pycairo records. Soon after, his remix for "Low frequencies" by Bini & Martini was released on the famous italian label Ocean Dark. Other original tracks and remixes followed, and the 2008 is set to keep his discography growing with more. Nicola was born in 1982. since joung he was passionate about nightlife. In the middle of 90's he started to attend regularly clubs. Near 20 years old he started to djing and play electro music. In 2004 he joined the Etoile staff,one of the most famour PR staff of the North of Italy working with some of the best clubs of Italy like Il Muretto and Fresh ‘n Fruit In 2006 he was bachelor's degree graduated and his life get a switch. He developed many new interests in arts, design, marketing. His many work travels bring him to see a meltinpot of cultures and way of life. That make a new need to express himself. At the end of December 2007 in a meeting with his long date friend Guido he suggest to create a new project and that lead to the born of Allusive as way of musical research.
