I'm a small country on the Atlantic coast of Africa. Unfortunately for a very VERY long time my land has been in the midst of continuous turmoil. For years groups of rebels against organized government ravage villages and torment their own people. They kidnap children and force them to join their ranks as expendable combatants. They rape women and children, mutalating their bodies by amputating various limbs of anyone in their way.
The good thing is that there are a lot of people working to help me and my people. However large diamond manufacturors from around the world would like to keep things the way they are. You see, I have lots of diamond mines. Many are run illegally by certain rebel groups, often mined by the young children they kidnap.
