I love books, although good new writers are getting hard to find....I read just about anything on the Times fiction best seller list except sci-fi and romance....When someone good starts a series with recurring characters, like William Bernhardt, Lisa Scottoline, Stuart Woods, Daniel Silva, Patricia Cornwell, too many authors to name -- I generally read 'em all and wait for the next one to come out! (not at the level of the author's biggest fan in 'Misery') I love all my myspace author friends.I read whatever I see at the library that looks interesting and whoever my pal LB tells me I'd enjoy (because he knows what I like and he reads almost as much as me)...I read stuff my son tells me about (because when he gets enthused, it's usually someone fairly strange) .....I also read a lot of political, historical and current events-related non-fiction/viewpoint stuff .....if I could get paid for reading, I'd be a happy old lady.I was "that kid" in elementary school who, when the teacher gave out book-order forms and each student ordered one or two, my parents let me order whatever I wanted (they were 25 or 30 cents each at the time) -- when the order arrived, the teacher handed the books out and then gave me the box to take mine home....
Gone to flowers every one --
