About Me

Good day to you!! This is "Da REV" J. Hamilton. I am a 2008 graduate of the Tiger Pride, West Blocton High School (Roll Blocton). I was number six in my class, Senior Class Vice-President, and percussion line captain, among the various other things. I am attending the University of Montevallo as a first-year freshman (Summer 1 and Fall semesters) to perform a major in Political Science and a minor in Sociology. Outside of school, I am a musician, minister and singer. I am the percussionist at the great Liberty Baptist Church (LBC) of West Blocton and also the percussionist of the Starting Point Youth Ministry worship team (Tuscaloosa Church of God). I am the founder and president of Conquering Youth Ministry, established 2001. CYM is a youth ministry that hosts conference for the young and young-at-heart with are ready for the heart of God. One of the men of God, in my life, who helped me and keeps me going because of how he is going, in this ministry, is Pastor Jamal-Harrison Bryant (a man beyond words). I am a singer and have been willingly giving my heart through song since the age of seven. My life is wonderful, though it has taken trials and troubles for me to get where I am today. Being from New Jersey (the "Brick City"), I have learned to handle troubles in my life as they come, but I must say that through it all, God has been so good to me. In my life, I declare that "Failure is not an Option, Mediocrity is not a Choice, and Average ain't enough." What you speak out of your month will come to pass...as long as you are within the will of the Almighty God! Much love always and be blessed!....
