"There Is Something To Be Learned From A Rainstorm. When Meeting With A Sudden Shower, You Try Not To Get Wet And Run Quickly Along The Road. But Doing Such Things As Passing Under The Eaves Of Houses, You Still Get Wet. When You Are Resolved From The Beginning, You Will Not Be Perplexed, Though You Will Still Get The Same Soaking. This Understanding Extends To Everything."----Hagakure------------------------------------

-------------------------------------Born in New York City and raised inside it's five boroughs, I have always appreciated the Hip Hop Culture and it's various forms of expression. I have grown up with rappers, b-boys, and graffiti writers so as a New Yorker myself, I am well able to state that Hip Hop is as native to this city as the hot dog and the yellow cab. However, the times of Afrika Bambaataa, Grandmaster Flash, and Big Daddy Kane are well over as the latest phase of materialistic violence replaces another in this music genre. In my digust with what the music had become I turned to music in its other forms as I became increasningly fascinated with World music as a whole. Quite recently, however, I have been drawn back to Hip Hop. I regained interest not for what it is or was, but rather for the potential that it still yields. I have picked up the art of producing Hip Hop not with the intention of creating the same recycled mindless trash, but to create new sounds with my new various cultural influences.
