RESIST

It all started with an idea, the classic idea of an MC and Producer collaborating with the intent to establish an unorthodox yet likable sound in a sea of mediocracy. Resist is a collaboration between Sypho, a young rapper from Jamaica Queens, and Transit, a young producer from the Bronx.------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------Essentially fed up with what the genre of Hip Hop has developed into, both Transit and Sypho felt it was a nessecity to try and alter original concepts into new horizons. "I do what I do for the love of it, not for the money," says Transit, the groups producer. "All you see on TV are those fake thugs who get paid to make up stories. Its the same recycled trash." In his eyes Hip Hop's greatest possible outlet, the media, has become it's worst enemy as it continues to spread and breed sterotypes. Thus, out of a need for change was Resist formed. {}
