I am here for Dating and Friends

About Me

I'm a happily single guy, living in Washington Crossing, which is nestled in scenic Bucks County Pennsylvania. For the past 25 years I've made a living mostly in the restaurant business. I say mostly because as anyone who has spent any time in the business knows, It's a love hate thing.

Over the years I've worked in some upscale restaurants and hotels, however most folks remember me from my days at Chianti's restaurant in Chambersberg the Italian section of Trenton In it's prime Chianti's was the place be. A family owned restaurant where everybody knew everybody. and the characters that used to come in. From Tony Big Nose, to Bottles, to Jointless John. The characters that passed through those doors, on a daily basis, rivaled the cast of any bad mob movie.I then went on to open a new italian restaurant "Amarone's Windsor Inn". In a town just outside of Trenton. What a crazy two years that was. I worked monster hours, ate like a "cafone" and drank like a fish, made great friends and great memories. Then my life changed... in 2004 Enzo Antonio Arcamone was born. The apple of my eye, he's my best friend and the greatest thing that has ever happened to me.
-Salute.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I'm building a boat

10/21
I have temporarily set my paint brushes aside and taken on the task of building a boat. As you may recall, last October I was consumed with rebuilding, repairing and repainting the Jeep. This year it's a boat I really have to get a job, I have way too much time on my hands So, I dug up some plans from the 60s on the internet, borrowed a saw and collected left over lumber from the neighbors (still looking for a motor and a trailer, If you have one to get rid of, let me know). Surprisingly it's not as tough as I expected. Check out the pictures in the album labeled "Boat" I'll be adding photos as I make progress. -Wish me well
10/23
Today we put on the bottom and sides, and completed the interior framing. So far I've used 500 screws, 5 tubes of contractor's glue, 5 sheets of plywood, and a whole bunch of 2x4's It's really starting to take shape.
10/28
After three days of rain, it's good to get back to work on the boat. I sealed all the seams using a roofers caulk, threw on a coat of primer on the interior, and installed the decking on the front of the boat
10/30
Enjoying this beautiful weather. Today we completed the decking on the rear of the boat and installed the floor. Built the seat out of Cedar planks (I think I'm going to sand and stain the seat, while the rest of the boat will be painted)
11/8
It looks like winter is nearly upon us. It's getting cold outside. So, progress on the boat has come to a halt. The seat has been sanded and stained, (looks good) I spent three days smoothing and shaping the rough edges. And today I threw on a coat of paint (you guessed it - yellow) to protect the wood during the winter. As soon as it hits 60 degrees I can fiberglass the boat, put on the final coat of paint, then put it in the water and see if she floats.

Well friends, I've decided to explore my artistic side again. In my youth I was pretty good at sketching with pencil and with pen and ink. I then moved on to photography. Concentrating on B&W imagery, working my way up to 4x5 large format. I still love my photography, but I find my self intrigued with watercolors. Even though I was never handy with a brush, and I always preferred working in shades of gray, I am attempting to teach myself the art of watercolorThis picture is my first attempt. What do you think?

Well, here it is several months later and I'm still experimenting with watercolors. The following two examples are my latest works. Although I realize I have a long way before I'm satisfied with paintings, I feel I've improved some. i appreciate all feedback
