DMH ALIVE:
Founded in the end of 2004, recorded a demo in April 2005 and a full-length in January 2006. DMH is about having fun, meeting nice people and screaming out anger. We definitely think that every individual has got something to say. So we're not just in for playing music, we also take the band as a weapon to kill oppression, prejudice and all negativity that live brings to us and our fellow-men everyday. The songs deal with personal as well as political and society-critical topics. It's about to show what's going wrong on planet earth, to animate people to use their own mind, instead of eating everything "they" try to feed. HC should be fucking more than just about colored wax and shirts! Played shows with PAINT IT BLACK, xCONFRONTOx, DOWN TO NOTHING, STRENGTH APPROACH, DRIVING THE SALT, SETTLE THE SCORE, ZERO MENTALITY, END ALL PLANS, THE NIGHTMARE WITHIN, TERROR, DONNYBROOK, TURN AWAY, INTRUDER,....THE HAND IS DEAD:
After realizing that we wouldn't progress anymore, due to different interests in music and the level we wanted to keep the band on, we decided to call it quits in March 2007. It was a pretty hard and time-taking process to take that step, but in the end the four of us thought that it would be the best decision for the band and ourselves personally. For some it may seem like a weak capitulation, but we tried our best to keep things going, it just didn't work anymore. There's simply no sense in keeping things artificially alive. Better die lucky than living unsatisfied, we had our best of times. We still hang out together and realized that real friendship's worth much more than just making music together.
As we are no fans of big glory we played an unspectacular last show in Waldsassen together with "The Blackout Argument" and "Tomleftmarybleeding"

BG became a guitar-addict, locks himself up in his stinky room and worships music all day long.WOJTO, aka Häns-Power jams with his other band on drums.MORTL got a new project hopefully it'll turn out well...ÄNDI is busy 24/7 with work, school for the next few months and putting on funny banana-shows in Weiden.THE FUTURE:
Some of us will come back someday, at least we hope it.
We definitely want to do a new band in the near future but we'll take some months for inspiration and finding people who'll fit in on drums, guitar, vocals or bass. If anybody is interested in a serious band, feel free to contact us via this profile.
