About Me

..I'm a wife, mother, legal secretary, college student majoring in English/creative writing with a minor in psychology, poet, wannabe fantasy novelist, bird watcher, cat lover, and pagan. I'm a realist in the sense that I want to change the world but realize this can't be accomplished without changing myself first. I hope to effect my own small changes via the written word, whether it's through my journal, blog, poetry, or stories. I embrace both the dark and light aspects of my psyche and thus am equally enchanted by Hello Kitty and Kitten Parasites. I'm quite an introverted person who values solitude but also a loyal friend who loves to help others whenever I can.Favorite Quotes:"We are who we are." ~Peter S. Beagle"To thine own self be true." ~William Shakespeare"Know thyself." ~Socrates"We are the cats inside. We are the cats who cannot walk alone, and for us there is only one place." ~William S. Burroughs
