I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Visit my website: www.enchantedgarret.com

I write (and have sold and/or published) short stories and poetry for children. (My credits include Highlights for Children.) I hope to someday publish a children's book, too. (Me and about a million other writers! *sigh*) I also dabble in fractal art. You can see my gallery here: http://www.enchantedgarret.com/fractalartgallery

I love creativity of all kinds, and greatly admire talent in others.

I do freelance writing and web designing to pay some of the bills at home. Gotta keep my husband and three cats in the style to which they are accustomed!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

JK Rowling, Anne McCaffrey, Lou Dobbs...oh, wait. You mean here? Well, anybody who shares an interest in writing, reading, music, creativity.

Just a note: while I appreciate every request to "friend" that I receive (well, not *every* one - I don't like the spam ones *grin*), I'm not going to automatically add them. I write for children, so if your site/space has mature content (up to and including the comments section), I'll have to give it a pass. Sorry!

And one more thing: if you're a "Bulletin" spammer, you will be deleted from my friends list. One or two bulletins a day are okay, but five, six, seven, eight...or more?! Sorry, I just don't have the time to keep up with that, nor do I like having to hunt through the excess to find the bulletins that I *do* want to read. (A suggestion: why not use your blog for the daily stuff and just use the Bulletins for special notices?)

My "kids" - doing what they do best.

Our newest family member, McKenzie,
another rescue that's found a home.
Isn't she beautiful?

My good friend, sometime collaborator, and children's performer extraordinaire, Mister Laurence, has a new children's video of his latest song, Star Fish. Check it out: your kid's will love it!

Silver and Gold - listen to the music

I've said it before, but I'll say it again: one of the best things about MySpace, for me, is discovering new music and artists that I might never have known about otherwise. And here's one of my favor...
