My Interests

we all lose control as the breaks cough us up, spit into the air in cartwheels where we know not who we are but one honey melting symphony that will never get unstuck.

I'd like to meet:

chilled down to earth people, with positive attitudes.

Music:

everything, and i mean everything, with a few exceptions. i dont like bling bling rappers, current "pop" music, and new country. some genres include, but not limited to : ambient, bluegrass, old country, classical, folk, electro, techno, house, ambient, hip-hop, old school rap, rock, the blues, jazz(new and old), down tempo, ambient, experimental, idm, and ambient. a few favorites: matt dear, lusine, mid west hackers, lcd soundsystem, the juan mclean, real time hand motion, busynspoon, twine, global communication, sound tribe sector nine, john butler trio, old school funk, beck, the orb, anything ambient, brian eno, anything with feeling, and well produced. the list gos on and on and on and on."If by noise you mean uncomfortable sound, then pop music is noise to me" Masami Akita (aka Merzbow)

Movies:

.. width="425" height="350" ....

Television:

i have become addicted to educational tv. the discovery channel, history channel, science channel, national geographic, animal planet, the food network, etc.

Books:

a brief history of time, electric kool aid acid test, the secret art of dr. suess, any history book.

Heroes:

"The universe is all that is, all that was, and all that ever will be" Carl Sagan.--- "So m'dear, I used this business of making people laugh and taking your laughter seriously because the comedy always contains the tragedy. But the comedy can overpowah the tragedy. You can use it in such a way that people listen to it purely as comedy. But then they think about it and realize what it contains. And they got it. yes mahn, they got it." Louise Bennett.--- "A finely tempered nature longs to escape from his noisy cramped surroundings into the silence of the high mountains where the eye ranges freely through the still pure air and fondly traces out the restful contours apparently built for eternity." Albert Einstein.
