Based in the lively Caribbean port of La Ceiba, GUILLERMO ANDERSON and his band CEIBANA, infuse Afro-Caribbean percussions with contemporary sounds, local rhythms, and folklore of Honduras' coastal regions. His concerts celebrate love, nature and everyday life in this part of the Caribbean. As an artist Guillermo has played an important role in Honduras bringing awareness on important issues like the protection of the environment, health and literacy. His song En Mi Pais is already an alternative national anthem in Honduras. His concert Para Los Chiquitos For the Little Ones, a recording aimed at familiarizing children with rainforest species in danger of extinction gained him a wide children's audience in His country.
Guillermo Anderson and his band CEIBANA have gained wide recognition and acclaim through their concert performances throughout North, Central and South America, Europe Taiwan, and Japan. His son "Aves" is featured in PUTUMAYOS RECORD´S recent "Animal Playground" compilation.

***************GUILLERMO ANDERSON es actualmente uno de los artistas más conocidos de Honduras y de Centroamérica. Basado en el puerto de La Ceiba, Guillermo y su grupo combinan la percusión GarÃfuna del Caribe Centroamericano con influencias del rock y reggae.
Además de sus constantes presentaciones por toda Centroamérica, Guillermo ha incursionado en los festivales europeos de World Music, principalmente en Holanda y Alemania. Una reciente presentación en la Feria Internacional de Turismo en Madrid le augura mas presencia este año en España.
Con un amplio historial de giras y una sólida discografÃa, Guillermo presentó el CD “Encarguitos del Caribe†su mas reciente producción bajo el sello Costa Norte Records de Honduras. Papaya Music de Costa Rica ha editado la compilación “Llevarte Al Mar†con lo mejor de su repertorio y PUTUMAYO RECORDS ha incluido su tema "Aves" en su mas reciente compilacion "Animal Playground".
