In the same way monsters are made, Silence Is A Monster formed from thoughts, fear, and tough times from the members of the band. With the line-up becoming official on April 5th 2008 they began to embark on their journey. Like most monsters, these five young monsters grew together hoping to shake the hearts and minds of every person in the world. With the gang of monsters consisting of Eric Carmouche - Front man, Shaun Embree - Drummer, Troy Rustin - Guitar, Nathan Tappy - Bass, and German Fritzler - Guitar, these monsters have set out to try and change the Arizona music scene. With most of the music in Arizona sounding the same, Silence Is A Monster is stepping out of line and causing a ruccus. The band is here to give the music a run for its money, challenge the scene, and walk on the thin lines of what is musically acceptable in their genre. Monsters are remembered by what they do and what they have done and in no case is this different for these five young men. Their goal is to bring a breath of fresh air and share with the world what a majority of bands are lacking these days, passion and true love of music. Silence Is A Monster is here to bring the heart back in music and to help get the listeners of their beloved Arizona community back into supporting its crashing local scene. The monsters plan on giving their fans a show to remember with catchy riffs, body moving breakdowns, explosive energy, and an overall intense performance every time they set foot on the stage. They are here to set a new high level of performance and to bring their mesh and combination of southern rock, melodic, and hardcore style to the table for all to feast upon.
