I've been living here in Denver for a little over one year and I work as a freelance marketing consultant. (Check out my online portfolio )
I'm a beer snob and I watch too many movies. I also have a movie blog.
I'm almost always upbeat and positive, which apparently annoys some people. But I think there's no way to accomplish anything unless you think it's going to work out. If you can trick yourself into believing in what you're doing, you've got a much better shot at pulling it off. So that's how I roll.
I watch a lot of movies. Have you seen Anger Management? I had a hard time getting through it the first... three times I tried, so if you're having trouble, keep at it! It's worth the effort. Anyway, this question made me think about how Nicholson asked Sandler to "tell us about himself" and he kept interrupting and telling him he was doing it wrong. That's funny. I'm glad no one is doing that to me right now.
I have three and a half bicycles.
I'm a writer. Professionally. Mostly an advertising copywriter. It's really hard to come to grips with being a professional wordsmith. How could people pay you to put words on paper? Well the first step is to coerce them into thinking that's a good idea. It takes some doing. The second step is to keep writing stuff that they couldn't have come up with on their own... oh, and that looks better than what other wordsmiths could give them. It's a meritocracy.
