As a veteran of 2 decades + of punk rockin'/show stoppin', I started wooping it up in the year that Ronald Reagan came to power. I still have my 20 lb. spiked & painted battlejacket as I did when I was one of the boot boys in 1984, I usually opt for my plain black dickies jacket nowadays. I saw all the great bands in their day and seen them again on thier 25th anniversary tours. Been there, done that. I got most of my tattoos in the 1980's so they are faded from the mileage. (thanks Jeff Stamps, Mark Mahoney, Creeper, others) The ink-slinging of today is pretty impressive compared to my old work.... I might get a few more someday....dunno.....besides, I had most of my tattoos almost 2 decades before they were cool and mainstream ;-) MP3 Now playing: Peter & The Test Tube Babies - September Part 1I still go to shows in the LA/OC area. I drive my old 1939 Chevy coupe on the weekends. It's got a cheap paintjob, cheap stereo, big whitewalls, glass packs & sounds nice! I sold my 1954 Corvette so I got one less money pit! I'm also working on a 1942 Harley 80" Bobber. It's a low budget, high style, real deal kind of bike. I rode a 1947 Indian Chief for a couple of years and it rawked! I am not a biker, but I like old stuff that you can ride and drive. I am in the vintage american motorcycle business. (go figure ;)
This is my motorcycle parts website: Mas Classics One can only go
so far at war with the world before it wins and my fury has tamed. It has a limited shelf life. I have buried
a few of my friends along the way (sounds like a song, huh?) I've learned a little through the years and I believe that I communicate
a little better than before. I am a passionate
guy, a hopeless extrovert, the casual tattooed guy in the crowd who's not afraid to
smile. I can speak of Jello Biafra at one point, recite the intro from Crucifix - Annihilation, later on I'll throw in a little Abraham Lincoln or even
the Apostle Paul into the conversation to keep you all on yer feet. I am a sorta complicated
individual!
You'll get no pre-packaged, phony front from me. Perhaps, I am from the fringe of my camp (my camp?.... haha) but my Faith is the most important thing in my life, like the air that I breathe that affects my daily life. If I be a fool, then I will be a fool for Christ. We all worship something or another, we're just all made that way. My church rawks, ROCKharbor!!! The clock
does go quicker after a while, the Logan's Run carousel doesn't
kill you automatically at age 30 like I thought. This place really is all gonna burn after all just like we thought back in '84. It's nice to know the end of the story ;)
