Cynonyte was a Winston-Salem based old school metal band formed by Mark Lucas way back in 1999. In 2007, Cynonyte is now a thrashy, deathy, new-school band featuring the talents and influences of 2-ex Torture Cell members, Hippie and Darren and the recently re-recruited bass player, Skreech.
With the line-up complete and the songs re-engineered, Cynonyte now boasts a 40 minute, 7 song set with plenty of heavy harmonized rhythms to keep the audience awe-struck. Cynonyte, in days gone past, has had the opportunity to play at the one-and-only Ziggy's of Winston-Salem and even placed 3rd overall in a Battle Of the Bands contest hosted by The Money (Rockhill, SC).
