The artistic idea of Culture of Greed was conceived in 1999. Unfortunately it was not until 2005 that both the technology and the ability to realize this idea materialized. Culture of Greed is not any one sound or any one classification. Although primarily electronic, the list of instruments heard on Culture of Greed tracks is quite extensive and include Hammered Dulcimers, electric/acoustic/hand drums, bouzoukis, acoustic/electric guitars, electric bass, along with hardware and software synthesizers. Any of these elements can be used at any one time creating a large breath of sonic landscapes.
Another interesting part of Culture of Greed is the use of video in the live show. This in particular is something that very few bands, short of massive budget national acts, can match. Through the judicious use of stock footage and mystery clips, Culture of Greed creates a memorizing and engrossing visual experience that, while in conjunction with music, almost seems to tell a story. The visuals are not static repeating screen savers; instead, Culture of Greed creates continuously moving and evolving images derived from sources that are not always easy to determine. This is definitely something that should not be missed. If you want a taste, look directly to your left and press play on the video for "Scattered".
