My family is first in my life. Then: Middle Eastern dance (bellydance), sewing, home improvement projects, reading, photoshop, illustrator, art, dancing, music, roller derby (although I never get to go), the tattoo arts...blah blah blah.
Not here to meet anyone really. I won't add you if I don't know you, so don't bother. I'd love to keep in touch with old friends.
I think people, in general, try too hard to define themselves by the music they listen to. I'm not going to list the million bands that I like. I'm all over the place! Not big into country. Love world music and anything blended with Middle Eastern beats. And, of course, good ol' 80's stuff that shows my age and makes my husband cringe. If I can dance to it...I like it. Love tons of other stuff, too...like White Stipes, the Killers, Clapton, Bowie, Elton John, Aretha. I love music with a soul.
Geez...there could be an endless list here. I have the amazing ability to see a movie, that I possibly even really enjoyed, and forget that I've seen it after just a couple months. So, if I remember that I've actually seen it, it must really be special in someway. A kid of the 80's, I like the basics: Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Pretty in Pink, that kind of thing. Also like Princess Bride, Shawshank, and I really, really love horror flicks! I can't say that I've seen anything lately that has made me cringe... any suggestions?
I don't get to watch alot of tv... but I like The Colbert Report, Craig Ferguson, Daily show with Jon Stewart, The Dresdon Files, all kinds of home improvement type shows.... Every now and then I even watch an episode of ER.
