About Me

I like Gardening, trying to think of ways to "Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle" at home. I spend a good deal of time playing XBOX or watching movies. I like shooting guns for marksmenship. I also like fishing (although I don't get to much). I like hunting, but hunting in Texas is more like ambushing than hunting. I think the 80's sucked and now they're just old and suck.

I married one of the hottest women in existence! Think I'm wrong? Check her out . She is a real bellydancer. You know those guys that have been way more blessed than any one man should be? .. er .. ya .. that would be me! (You may now all be jealous)

My Interests

Gardening, programming, living "green", shooting/marksmenship, movies/gaming/music, and making crazy inventions and living the "Thug" life, cuz I'm hard core like that!

personal: Old friends and acquaintances
celebs: Nicole Kidman or Kate Beckensale
obscure: Kent Beck or Martin Fowler
I'ld also like to meet God but I am in no hurry, :)

Music:

Acoustic, Adult Alternative, Blues, most anything with real instruments. Right now I really dig Obadiah Parker, Jose Gonzoles, and Johnny Cash.

Movies:

(Oh Lord I hate to admit it but I like musicals and chick flicks) Chicago and Moulan Rouge were "fabulous" and The Matchmaker, How to Loose a Guy in 10 days, Sheakspear in Love, Love Actually, and Serindipity were all outstanding (admitedly I got a little thing for Kate Beckensale)More on the pure drama side I thought In America was one of the most emotionally impactful movies ever, I also liked A River Runs Through It, but if I want a really good cry, The Lion King does it to me every time. (I guess I have lost all membership point on my man card, oh well)

Television:

My name is Earl, Good Eats, and MythBusters, lately I have gotten into Eurika, Psych, and Who wants to be a superhero

Books:

(er.. uh.. I'll wait for the movie) If they made movies out of tech books then I'ld like to see "The Pragmatic Programmer" or "The Gang of Four's Design Patterns" If audio books count then "The Nothing that is Zero", "Linked" and "Myths, Lies, and Legends of American History" were all really good
