Winner of the "Viewers Choice" at the Independent Music Awards, Maria Ferrer has come a long way in the music game. At the tender age of 13, she recorded with mega rap group Bone Thugs N Harmony and went on to write for several artist. After graduating from the Las Vegas Academy of Performing arts, Maria moved to the city of Angels to pursue her dream. Now 22, she has been featured in a variety of magazines and has performed through out Southern California. Her face has been seen with many established artist such as Stevie Wonder. Her song "Where I'm From" which samples Tupac's "Ambitions as a ridah" has been in heavy rotation on KJLH Saturday night mixdown. Ms. Ferrer writes all her own music and even co-produces. In 2008 she signed a new production deal with Queen Vision/Rawlo Entertainment and is currently at work on her new EP. " I've grown up so much this past year. I know God has a great plan for me this year. Afterall, his promise is that of 2008 is the year of prosperity and new beginning." Maria is also a faithful member of West Angeles Church of God in Christ with Bishop Charles Blake. "God makes all things possible!!"
