xol21 started,when famous producer gianfranco mendoza met zouk chanteuse frances de caribeans 1988 in rome, italy.they immediately started not only a boiling love affair ,but also working together musically,totally being infected by each other, overwhelmed by the innocence and dexterity. enjoying the flow of spontaneous ideas, ... they sent and remodelled data from rome to nyc ever since , and brought out the famous collection one , and collection two , which found broad acceptance and enthusiastic reviews , for example in "nme" and "harpers bazaar", "die presse" and "a guide to the jungle, bangladesh 2004". at the time , they still -although already divorced- work together , and plan to release "penetrant moves", a collection of the unrare in autumn 2009.
