I'm an engineer/producer/mixer/musician/editor. I'm from Los Angeles, but I'm currently living in Virginia, working at an amazing studio on a private beach (which is sweet). I spend most of my time making records with producer Michael "Elvis" Baskette. I've worked with Escape The Fate, Story Of The Year, Incubus, Chevelle, Alter Bridge, A Change Of Pace, The Classic Crime, Hoobastank, Army Of Me, I Am Ghost, Three Days Grace, Falling Up, and Tyler Read. I just finished my second record for the Classic Crime, and am currently working with the japanese artist Fact. I am very proud to say I got nominated for a Grammy (along with engineer Rick Will and guitarist Mike Einziger) for recording Incubus' "Morning View."I enjoy playing guitar, bass, upright bass, drums, and occasionally I'll bust out a bit of cello. If you listen really hard, you can hear me at the end of the Incubus song "Drive."When I'm not working I try to spend as much time as I can with my wife and son. And I like to cook and watch TV. I'm really into good imported beer, like Chimay or any belgian ale.Before I started engineering, I played in a band called Frontside. I had a shitload of fun and learned alot about music (and the music business). Being in a band helped me make relationships that eventually led me to into music production. I am extremely grateful to all the people that have enabled me make music for a living. Much thanks to Elvis, John Avila, Rick Will, and Incubus, to name a few. And of course my wife, my stepdad, and my mom.
