About Me
MERENDINE ATOMICHE aren’t exactly newcomers to the wide world of heavy metal! The band was founded - now a little over eleven years ago - in February of 1995. During this time-span MERENDINE ATOMICHE released a demo in 1997, a tribute to METALLICA disc in 1999, a mini-album, entitled THE HOLY METAL, in 2000, and WALK ACROSS FIRE, a full-length album issued in 2003, produced by TOMAS SKOGSBERG at Sunlight Studios in Stockholm, Sweden. The album also featured some lead-guitar work by JEFF WATERS, as well as a vocal contribution by ANDERS LUNDEMARK.MERENDINE ATOMICHE’S music is the fruit from various, and diverse roots; PANTERA-style hardcore, MEGADETH-like speed metal, MOTLEY CRÜE-type anthem-rock, with a lot of memorable melodies that will retain your attention, and a little splatter of acoustic guitars, just to make the mood more interesting. No wonder that during their lengthy existence they were invited to share the stage with an impressive assembly of acts of dissimilar musical styles, including: TESTAMENT, OBITUARY, SYMPHONY-X, AGNOSTIC FRONT, PRONG, FOZZY and JACK FROST’S SEVEN WITCHES. In all they toured three times across Italy, from the boot tip to the top, and also played a number of gigs in the United States, where the previous album, WALK ACROSS FIRE, had made quite an impression. All in all not bad for band who had never had a label behind them!In 2006 comes the full-length album RAW. Leaving nothing to chance, MERENDINE ATOMICHE dedicated more than 18 months to writing, arranging and recording RAW, determined to produce not a good album, but a great album. They therefore camped out in the prestigious NEW SIN STUDIOS, in Treviso, Italy, and also enlisted SEVEN WITCHES chief, JACK FROST, to assist them with the production. The album has been released in may 2006 receiving great exposure in Usa and Europe and preparing the band for the brand new album they just finished to record at New Sin studios in Treviso (Veneto- North east Italy). The new album RUDE REBEL BROTHERHOOD has been co produced by CHRIS CAFFERY (Savatage, Trans siberian orchestra) and will be release in 2008.
