About Me

Dan Clews & The Stars Above combine English song-writing with Swedish style. Its a project that formed in the Studio and came together very immediately creating a sound big enough to fill any stage, then I would say that. Sadly the band are currently on hold while I play catch up. In the mean time the Stars Above are involved in some pretty cool projects like Lykke Li, El Perro Del Mer & Jalmer not to mention some pretty huge studio stuff. My only option is to gain some considerable momentum with my solo project, so one day I can reform the titans that are the stars above. I really do think there is no better band.Dan Clews and The Stars Above draw its sonic structure from a diverse spectrum of styles, from the deep roots of country to the early progression of psychedelia and folk. Brandishing a knack for killer melodies the melting pot is stirred in sweeping arcs that often soar to an epic climax.
