Twilight folktronica tinged artist Dan Clews draws his sonic structure from a diverse spectrum of styles, places and people. Hailing from one of the last remaining traditional strawberry farms in Kent, The Garden Of England is the foundation for his song-writing landscape. His eccentric father (having played on the London folk scene in the 70’s) and Dan can be found at the farm, mid fruiting season selling strawberries and playing into the night.Having spent a few years honing his skills in London and Liverpool and busking his way round Europe, Dan threw himself into the Swedish Indie/Folk scene collaborating with some of the most interesting talent around, the core of which “The Stars Above†quoted “one of Sweden’s finest Americana Bands†(Maverick) put out 2 releases………both now sold out.
