I've been a musician all my life. I started playing drums when I was four and began some musical study as soon as school allowed. Jazz, symphonic, concert, marching... Anything I could get myself into was fine with me! I also played in a few garage bands covering everything from country, blues, the Beatles, the Stones, rock, alternative to ska, eighties, etc. I just plain dug music, ya know? I began professionally touring when I was eighteen and continued for a few years. Eventually, I put together a serious project that unfortunately fell short right when a record deal was close at hand--creative differences and other "Behind the Music"-type nonsense. To say I was crestfallen or devastated is actually a touch blas and also a misnomer... I was utterly destroyed. I spent a few years "ignoring" music and generally 'not thinking' about music and most assuredly not considering all the music I was writing as having 'anything to do with music.' Happily, I had a very lucid experience (non-chemically assisted) that made me remember that I should maybe look back into the whole "music thing." A few good friends had also taken notice of the songs I wasn't writing and would ask me to play for them periodically. I did some searching for a singer and could not seem to make anything click. This is about the time when afore mentioned good friends told me the ever frightening (to any drummer), "why don't you sing it?" So, I did and I am... Fast forward to today, now and right here... Hello, I'm Jas Patrick. Nice to "meet" you! I appreciate you taking the time to look at the profile. I plan on keeping this site as updated as possible with new pics, shows I play/played/will play and music will be posted shortly. I am in pre production for an album and will keep you updated as soon as there are updates in which one could, in fact, find themselves in need of their date being "up'd." Once again, thanks for reading and I hope to entertain you soon. Have a great one and be well!
