As Long Island’s only mid-size, professional-level recording studio, the Audio Magick facility is affordable for local artists and still has more than enough capability to attract major recording artists and professionals alike with experienced engineers, top-of-the-line recording equipment, and a one-of-a-kind live recording room that most would pay much higher rates to use. In other words, the quality of what a client will pay far exceeds what they are paying for.
The Audio Magick Studio offers a digital Pro Tools HD III system, Sony MCI 2â€
24-track analog full-production, digital video editing, audio to video editing, synchronization and editing, and Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound mixing. Our newly renovated rooms include a spacious 24' x 30’ main recording room with a cathedral ceiling, an isolation lock for amplifiers, isolation vocal booth, and an acoustically designed control room creating an optimum mixing and listening environment. Equipment includes a full range of tube analog and digital outboard mic pre-amps, compressors, EQ’s, and digital processors, as well as an extensive selection of microphones, and a 27’ high-definition flat screen television/monitor in our control room for digital video editing. All AC electrical power is run on completely isolated circuits for each outlet and light switch allowing for cleaner electricity with absolutely no electrical noise.
Also newly renovated, our expanded lounge features a 42’ high-definition, flat-screen television, DVD player, leather couches, and a new kitchenette area for clients to take some time out to relax.
Besides using the facility as a studio, the Audio Magick staff offers clients both guitar and drum technician services at a fraction of the cost of a typical music shop.
