What's in this Juice?

About Me

What's in this Juice? is an innovative ska rock band based in New York’s scenic Hudson Valley. This six-piece consists of vocalist Laura Facchin, lead guitarist Tim Facchin, bassist Jon Pickles, trombone player Jeff Spengler, trumpet player Steve Garris and drummer Brett Givler. The music is a unique look at ska; its upbeat horns and catchy riffs with plenty of rock attitude attract a diverse audience of listeners. The band's energy-infused songs give a nod to artists such as Reel Big Fish, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Less Than Jake, and vintage No Doubt. Their main goal is to create a fresh, fun sound that is easily enjoyed by all.
What's in this Juice? takes its name from the ironic utterance of an anonymous drummer who nearly passed out and died on his drum kit while auditioning for the band. As he clutched his abdomen and doubled over in agony (probably due to ingesting a foot-long sandwich after a late night of binge drinking) he blurted the now infamous question. This inside joke turned moniker is testament to the fact that the band doesn’t take itself too seriously. Their light-hearted spirit and fun loving nature is evident in their performance and songs.
