Initially the band concentrated on the UK, with three sell-out tours performing over 100 shows. This was followed with a highly success trip to the Gulf
The band performed over 120 shows in the USA alone. They also broke the Canadian market by storm. In Toronto they played and sold out the RPM for three nights running. This was to equal the ticket sales that The Rolling Stones achieved at the same venue on their The Voodoo lounge Tour.
A Tribute Band? Absolutely not. The Railing Stains pay homage to the Stones
by performing their songs in a completely authentic manner, with a stage
presence and attitude which does justice to this classic material. However
the term "tribute band" often conjures up images of silly wigs, backing tapes
and rehearsed coreography. If that is what you want then there are plenty of
bands like this who will give you great entertainment. But the Railing Stains
are a hard-driving, gutsy rock'n'roll band, not actors - their sell-out performances
speak for themselves.

The Visitors are essentially a 6 piece folk-rock-country creation formed by Ross Ingram & James Dyer of Portsmouth, Hampshire. Since their early days as a duo they have developed
their own colourful sound consisting of rich melodies and strong hooks.
Their music has been compared to Counting Crows, Whiskeytown and Wilco and from supporting
such acts as Nizlopi, Ocean Colour Scene, Ed Harcourt, Jack Savoretti, The Bees & Nick Harper, they have established a large and loyal fan-base which continues to grow.
The band has always thrived on experimentation and pursued collaboration with many different artists, allowing them to add a rich variety of styles to their creative mix.
Just last year they had their music used by Sony Computer Entertainment, having their latest recordings added to the PS3 demo units and distributed in over 5,000 retailers within 101 countries worldwide throughout the PAL territories.
Having spent much of her time working with industry greats such as Dave Stewart and Michael Kamen, Susy was more than ready to release her self penned debut album last year. Radio 2 exposure for the melodic “Free Myself†from her album “In The Morning†led to other classics such as “Mirror For Me†and “Hands and Knees†receiving extensive airplay around the country.
A national radio tour and hectic show schedule kept Susy very busy last year. Supports with Paul Young, Roger Taylor, Ray Davies, Tony Hadley…. to name but a few, help us to understand how Susy has become the electrifying performer that she is.
You’ve probably already heard many of the tracks from “In The Morning†on Eastenders, Sky drama’s or even sports round ups.
Starting back in 2003 I started toying with the idea of teach myself to play guitar and it all just started to spiral really. I got so into I started to write songs. How I started to play out came as a bit of a surprise. I had gone down to The Barn at the Milton arms to watch a band and just after we got there we were informed they had had to pull out. Under some massive coercion Jimmy and Mr Nick Courtney convinced me to go home get My guitar and My lyrics and come down to Play. Thats how it all started really......... Since that day I have gone on to perform at over 200 Gigs, Promote My own music nights in Portsmouth at seven different venues (gig listings for these are ridiculous), Manage Bands, Go on tour, and have an absolute riot!!!
Quality and authenticity along with attention to detail are top on their list of priorities.
