Who li'han

Whore's bath and swinswaddle!

About Me

Easily covered in a few subjective terms and phrases.Sarcastic for one. Honest- sometimes to a ridiculous degree. Open-minded, progressively minded, liberal, adjective friendly, kind hearted, romantic, humorous, wandering/wondering/dreaming, looking and willing to travel, interested in new experiences, awful at talking during terrible movies according to joanna...and others-ie aliens v. predator, strangeland, cabin fever, napolean dynamite.

My Interests

traveling, politics, current events, camping, skiing, kick boxing, kayaking, racquetball, reading, learning new things, walks on the beach, exploring, hiking, contemplating the impossible, deconstructing commonly held beliefs, holding intelligent conversations about anything, playing pool, can I "etc" the rest?

I'd like to meet:

Peoples to laugh with, make fun of things with, inspiring, honest, loyal, friendly...you get the gist.

Music:

Favorite song of the moment would be "I'll Follow You Into the Dark" by Death Cab for Cutie

Movies:

A veritable forest of different movies. The Forty Year Old Virgin, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, To Kill A Mockingbird, Fight Club, About A Boy, A Time to Kill, Predator, Resident Evil, American Beauty, Les Miserables, Super Troopers, Office Space, Punch Drunk Love, Vanilla Sky, The Last Samuri, Contact, The Fifth Element, Good Will Hunting, Monty Python: The Quest for the Holy Grail, Road Trip, The Replacements, The Shawshank Redemption, The Usual Suspects, There's Something About Mary.

Television:

I haven't had cable in years, but I'd go withScrubs, The Daily Show, and The West Wing with Family Guy trailing behind nowadays

Books:

A list of things not similar to Dante's Inferno, which I certainly had to force myself through simply so I could say "I read that." Sadly, cruel providence has not afforded me the chance to tell anyone this and now I am driven to subject this knowledge upon you in a manner that reveals quite appropriately that I finished reading this monsterously slow moving journey (similar to a one armed drunk hobo pushing a wheel chair uphill) for shallow reasons.Fast Food Nation, Reefer Madness, the first 3/4 of The Jungle (although I forced myself to finish it), The Shape of Things, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Catch 22, Ender's Game, The Gunslinger, The Eyes of the Dragon, Crime and Punishment, The Great Gatsby, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, The Crucible, The Scarlet Letter, Death of A Salesman, Romeo and Juliet, The Odyssey, Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them, 1984, Animal Farm, A Brave New World, To Kill A Mockingbird, The Princess Bride, The Red Badge of Courage, Einstein's Dreams, The Hobbit, Memnoch the Devil, Interview With A Vampire

Heroes:

The poor guy next to Jesus who was nailed on to his cross up-side-down. If anyone deserves to be worshipped it's that guy. And to be honest? Jesus died with the knowledge that he would reign supreme for all time in his father's kingdom. Who wouldn't suffer days of terrible pain for that deal? Let us find a new hero that isn't promised such rewards for their deeds...while I'm on this subject- who is to say Christ wasn't motivated by greed?Okay...I'm just going to go with Batman.
