About Me

SOMETHING has been brewing in the heart of the Fens, England… second long-player from explosive blues/grunge duo King Kool.2005’s Roken saw the emergence of a new project from former Tribe of Dan frontman Dan Donovan, who decided to strip back his sound to a dirty, blues-inflected sound that swaggers along on distorted, chunky riffs.Fenman Joe Mason brings the discipline and attack of an 'out there' punk/metal drummer into the equation. The result, a dirty, grungey, bluesy, bombastic guitar, drums and no bass assault on the senses. The second album 'Yeah Yeah Liberté' is now available and this vid showcases one of the tunes 'Nanny Town'.Why King Kool? Yeah well!
