"From the streets of Inglewood, CA, the dynamic duo of Poly Robbinsun and Donny Springz came together in 2000 to form PoliDony. PoliDony is not only a group but also a philosophy of life. P.O.L.I.D.O.N.Y.is also an acronym People Overlook Love In Dawn Of A New Yearn; meaning love is the most important element of success. Poly Robbinsun: Poly, short for politics encompassing the constant flow of information in his head. Robbinsun: a common last name used to symbolizes the need for his sounds to be heard in every home. His flows filled with word play and high energy serve as a platform to get his message heard. Donny Springz: Donny: the playful form of The Don always on top of his game and a force to reckoned with. Springz: to express the nature of his persona always embracing. His grown man style uses an aggressive yet smooth word base backed by a flashy thought process and tireless work ethic. The team began making tracks to instrumentals and dominating street battles. By 2001, the group yearned for more than corner battles and local popularity setting their goals on a career as artists. The search for producers and engineers proved to be a tedious task for the pair driving them to their do it yourself attitude. Learning the ropes of production, PoliDony records, produces, and distributes their own sound. With a hefty album list: The Craftsmanship (Spring 2001), The Statement (Winter 2001), Back to the Yearn (2003), and The Virus (2005), this group has experience beyond their years. Never to disappoint their fans, PoliDony released two more singles at the beginning of 2006, Pop That and Laugh It Off. Influenced by such groups as: WuTang Clan, MC Eiht, NicenSmooth, Black Moon, and countless other Jazz, R&B, Soul, and Reggae artists, the group developed a socially inclined style that challenges their audience to use everyday occurrences as the foundation of their success.
