About Me

Hello and Welcome to Whisker Kisses Doggy Bakery, where the most important ingredient of all is love!! We are a bakery specializing in gourmet dog treats and desserts and are located in Eugene, Oregon. Our products range from classic treats and cakes to pastries, and other delicious dog-friendly creations. All of our treats and desserts contain natural ingredients and are additive and preservative free. We use high quality ingredients that produce high quality but homemade products.
Whisker Kisses Doggy Bakery is owned and operated by Jessica Uhlenkott and Joshua Suman (Pictured Below).
Jessica is a full time student taking classes at both the University of Oregon and Lane Community College. She hopes to have a bachelor of psychology as well as a drafting certificate within the year. In her free-time she loves to do art of all types, create and experiment with new dog treats and dessert recipes, and play with her and Joshua's two Jack Russell Terriers: Princess Sophia and Mr. Cash.
Joshua is also a full time college student at the University of Oregon and will be finishing work in a BA in English Literature during the coming Spring. His interests include sports of all kinds, animals and their role in American and world society, and also animal nutrition. He loves the outdoors and also training and playing with Princess Sophia and Mr. Cash!!

My Interests

Our first and foremost interest is to produce healthy gourmet dog treats from natural, quality ingredients for a homemade price. Our classic-style treats range from all varieties of fruit flavors to meats and vegetables. We also have several varieties of doggy cakes with many choices of doggy safe frosting.

As dog owners and lovers ourselves, we know how important doggy health and doggy safety can be when considering a new treat for your four legged friend; whether it be concern for treat freshness or concern in choosing the correct size of treat for your pooch. It may sound silly but dogs are generally impatient eaters, and too large of a treat can become a possible choking hazard. Just like with small children, you should consider food size versus esophagus size. At Whisker Kisses Doggy Bakery we bake treats in a variety of different sizes.

We would love to meet anyone who loves caring for their own dogs as much as we do. Nutrition is very important for our four legged friends, after all we want them to be around for a long time! Stay tuned for a complete list of our doggy treats and desserts as this site is under construction. We plan to have a menu created and ready for mailings in the upcoming months.

We will also be touring the local dog parks in the greater Eugene/Springfield area to pass out samples and business cards. We will be sure to post bulletins of when and where.
