After an idea to help the UK music industry, DJ Bullet founded Wee promotions in 2006 with the goal of distributing and promoting all types of music focusing mainly on Garage and Grime. Following the success of B-Odd and B-Even Part 1 DJ Bullet wanted to further promote Birmingham’s talent and hence B-Odd and B-Even Part 2 is in the making.During the 6 years DJ Bullet has been djing he has studied BTEC National Diploma in Music Technology to enhance his production skills.From a young boy of 4 DJ Bullet played drums in a church up until 16. While his family are talented musicians he quickly learnt how to play the bass guitar and piano.In 2001 DJ Bullet admired DJ Pubz and it was that point he wanted to DJ. For years DJ Bullet always felt that MCs was mainly taking over the grime scene and he knew he had to bring his name out.After securing a slot Birmingham’s number one radio station Silk City FM in November 2005 DJ Bullet made a DVD and CD pack called B-Odd and B-Even. With the likes of some of the biggest artists on the scene in Birmingham DJ Bullet sold over 500 in 2 weeks. With no plans to reproduce any more it was fast becoming the most wanted DVD on road so he produced a further 500 which sold up until January 06. With positive feedbacks DJ Bullet is currently making B-Odd and B-Even Volume 2 which will be 6 CDs and 2 DVDs in the package.One of the most recent Wee Promotions project is called “The Family Tree”. DJ Bullets first Hip Hop and RnB compilation album. Featuring members from his family the CD combines some deep lyrics to jumpy tunes and from amazing harmonies to love songs. On this CD is where you will hear and see the words “Grimster”.Grimster was founded by DJ Bullet in 2007. It combines Grime with Gangster (West Coast) and the family tree is based around the Grimster sound.Wee Promotions goal is to bridge the gap between talented UK artist and record labels by promoting there work in ways like flyers, CDs, DVDs, music shows and talent shows. Wee Promotions will do it all.As the slogan goes “Wee don’t take the piss, Wee know best”
