Fruit is the product of a tree/bush/plant's reproduction (the ability to produce after one's own kind) and its quality will depend on the quality and quantity of what the tree takes in (food, water, sun). The fruit of the tree allows an untrained eye to determine the type of tree be it apple, orange, etc.
Spiritually the same holds true. The result of one's reproduction will allow an untrained eye to determine what type of person and who's spirit the person carries. If the fruit is integrity the quality will be determined by the quality and quantity of of food/Bible, water/ministry and Son/Jesus that the person takes in.
John 15 dissects the tree. Labeling God as the caretaker/gardner, Christ as the vine and his people as the branches. The expectations are that the vine will provide nourishment to the branches, the branches will pull from the vine to produce fruit, and the gardner will provide care and insure that this process takes place. If a branch does not pull from the vine it is impossible for it to produce fruit. Branches that do not produce fruit gets cut off by the garner because it has not followed the process and met it's purpose. If a branch is detached from the vine then it has nothing to draw from therefore it will wither and die.
GoodFruit is the result of much pruning.

GoodFruit is in season, lush, beautiful, and appetizing. GoodFruit is desired of the Lord and over GoodFruit God reigns
