Band Members:"The Soundtrack to Summer!"ZionaurA "Chill" is available now at www.itunes.com, Amazon.com, and Emusic.com.Here is the 'Lit Monthly Magazine' Review of the Album! ZionaurA – Chill This is a stunning effort from local rocker Jet Tessmann. Stunning for two reasons: first, it is unheard of for a rock musician to veer so far from his long-time comfort zone, and second, he hits the reggae-groove-rock nail right on the head. The disc hits its stride by the third track and never lets up. Tessmann, known for his incredible ability to cover a huge range of rock vocalists, sounds as if he’s been singing the scale-jumping croon of reggae for his entire life. He even adds a subtle touch of Jamaican accent to great effect. While the variety of sounds and styles here is impressive (horns, congas, timbales, guitar), the best tracks are those that avoid complicated arrangements or serious lyrics, giving the listener a chance to kick back “chill.†Tracks like “Firefly†and “Lazy Summer†are the half-time break in a disc filled with action. Ultimately, you’ll forget that you’re listening to a locally produced disc and wonder when Sublime put this one out. (MB)
