About Me

Myspace Layouts
Get Your Own Voice Player ManageAccording to most people I know, I should be institutionalized (been there, done that, more than once). The loves of my life are reading, writing, swimming, dancing, music, art, sex, booze, coffee, and probably a few things I can't remember. Also, not necessarily in this order. Most of the time I'm in love with myself (in the good way, where I constantly amuse, surprise, and delight myself). I have a close-knit family that consists both of blood and the kin I created for myself. I'm highly creative and pretty damn intelligent and I feel no shame in saying it. I'm constantly surprised by life and by the people in it and that is one of the main things that gets me out of bed each day. I can be a rude sarcastic bitch at times and I often take pride in it. I'm in love with the world of words. I'm in love with the freedom, weightlessness, comfort, grace, and the odd combination of calm and exhilaration I find in water. I love making people laugh, especially myself. I love my lesser qualities just as much, if not more, than I do my more admirable traits. I love giving someone a hard time, getting their goat, giving them shit, fucking with them, etc, but I don't mean any of it. Sometimes, 90-98% of what comes out of my mouth should not be taken seriously, taken to heart. I also get a kick, at least on occasion, out of shocking people. People can be so tediously tame and I love to challenge all that and more. But I love people, and I do not lie, cheat, steal, etc, and I never purposely hurt anyone. I know I can be insensitive but oh well, so be it. Get some thicker skin, crybaby. Just kidding. Or am I? Who cares, just rock out, take care of bussiness, create, relate, give more than you take, don't wallow, laugh when someone farts, always admit it when you fart, nurture your passions and cultivate your gifts. Show your love and mean it. Oh, I also talk too much, have no patience, can blow a fuse pretty quickly (which is why I won a punching bag), am a natural flirt with both men and women, have a bad habit of interrupting people, love to be the center of attention, love to be in love (and typically fall in and out of love once every 5 minutes), have mild OCD and 8 million other psychiatric illnesses, cuss like a sailor, hang more with guys than girls, have been known to get in a fight or two, like to wile out, love people, music, food, dancing, singing, wine, wearing heels, dying my hair dark red, putting stickers on everything, sleeping with about 8 pillows, going barefoot 75% of the time and sandals or flipflops the other 25% of the time, regardlessof the time, regardless of the weather. Oh yeah, and I babble. I love: meeting new people, seeing new things, learning new things, visiting new places, trying new activities, eating new food, hearing/seeing new music, seeing new plays/movies/art/etc, and all things new and wondrous. And, of course, one of my all-time favorite things is listening to and especially seeing my brother's band Odd Numbers!!!
