Raw Hip Hop is a hip hop/rap album released in November of 2007 featuring the artists Renagade and Phoenix. Each of the two skilled rappers, having a history of lyrical credibility and notoriety, decided it was time to finally get into the studio and create a masterpiece for the anxious public. The two emcees met and began recording for the first time, and the hit tracks "Raw Hip Hop" and "Flashback" were finished within 2 hours of the first day. After almost two grueling yet exciting months, the artists released the mixtape in November only to see their talents morph into an acclaimed masterpiece. Renagade has currently paused his studio time having joined the USMC, while Phoenix is busy in a studio of his own, working on the release of his next album: Lionheart. Also featured on Raw Hip Hop are the emcees Eclipse, Harrow, Illuzion, and last but not least Jimmy Brindley, who also produced the record.Copies of Raw Hip Hop are still on sale.
