DOMMY HUGE DEAL STYLESSecond only to hip-hop, spinning records was initially a hobby for this Nashville, TN native. Dommy "HUGE DEAL" Style's passion for hip-hop moved him inevitably towards becoming a DJ. Starting as an emcee, Dommy catapulted his hobby into a thriving art form. Music, playing a major role and being a very positive force in his life, has contributed to Dommy becoming diligent, steadfast and committed to his art form for over 15 years. Self-proclaimed, "new-age renaissance man," Dommy knows what's hot, and never fails to get the party started. He started his career with a Gemini Belt Driven turntable and a Radio Shack mixer. Fellow students often requested Dommy to spin at parties, proving that the turntables would be more than just a hobby. By the time he was a junior in college, he became a serious DJ, the first one to have equipment in his crew. During college he worked small parties and was a DJ at Wilberforce University's WURS FM Radio station. He continues to spin at events and clubs nationwide.Among his many accomplishments, Dommy has co-founded entertainment companies and crews to rock each and every party he spins. Standing still is definitely not an option when a turntable whiz like Dommy is in the house. In 1996, he co-founded Freaky Five Entertainment Crew with partners Miguel, Marlon, Darius, and Malcolm. The following year, along with partners Tamiko, Tre and John, Kool Beans Entertainment was formed. Shortly thereafter, Kool Beans Entertainment swarmed the club/party scene in Dayton, Ohio, including Central State and Wilberforce Universities. Dommy "HUGE DEAL" currently rocks with dj crews, THA ALLIANCE, DA ENTOURAGE, LORD GANG DJ'S AND THE SENATE DJ CREW. Huge Deal currently resides in Columbus, Ohio and is one of the most influential people in entertainment in the city. He spins at The Obvious and is a business man first. "I love breaking records that's what I do. And with this market I'm in, when I play something new it's usually the first time they've heard it."In Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Washington, DC, Nashville, TN, Louisville, Kentucky, Denver, Colorado and Salt Lake City, Utah just to name a few, Dommy spins such genres as dancehall, reggae, hip hop, old school, R & B and neo-soul flavors. Creating a snowball affect and a lasting legacy, mixing flavors is an artistry that Dommy surpasses, proving that he stands the test of time."I'm not a DJ, I'm an entertainer," is one of Dommy's favorite quotes. Proving, over and over again, that he is much more than a DJ, rather a well-seasoned entertainer, with a lot of flavor for the crowd. Dommy knows what the people want. He's worked with artists such as Faith Evans, Cam'ron, Jay Z, Fabolous, Lil Jon and the Eastside Boys, Juvenile, Clipse, Lil Flip, BG, TI, Luke, Jim Jones, Lil Wayne, Digital Underground, Dipset, Carl Thomas and Dru Hill, as well as many others.Dommy has released some of the hottest mixed CDs, among some of his most wanted projects like "Phat Laces Series", "The Original Makin' Babies Series" and "I'm a Huge Deal Series." If you ask him, he will tell you, he's a HUGE DEAL.http://www.dommystyles.com/
