Gina

It is an honor I dream not of.

About Me

I'm a writer and editor of books and magazines, mostly for women. My most popular column is at http://www.sex-kitten.net/tess.htmlI work out of my home, which is wonderfully unstructured but I'm also ruled by deadlines. Fortunately I'm organized enough to meet them most of the time.I'm not your typical Dallas suburban woman. Why is that, well, hmm....I'd invite you to find out for yourself. First of all, there isn't anything about me that's fake. Not my tits or my nails or my hair, not even my smiles or the words that come out of my mouth. I tend to say stuff without remembering to run it through the "wait, should I say that?" filter.

My Interests

I'm so diversified~! I enjoy a night on the town or staying home and kicking back. I'm not much of a tv fan so you can definitely hold the remote. I enjoy musuems, theaters, art galleries in a nice fancy car or taking a motorcycle ride to biker bar and listen to a band.

I'd like to meet:

Interesting people. I'm probably more keen on meeting fun girlfriends right now, and not guys so much.

Music:

The last concert I saw was Alanis Morrisette in Phoenix. Long time ago. My first concert was...uh...Night Ranger. Really really long time ago.The last CD I bought: soundtrack to the movie "The Ladykillers." What's playing right now: John Mayer "Fathers Be Good to Your Daughters"

Books:

My latest one is available at amazon.com here: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0977100324

Heroes:

She Walks In Beauty by Lord Byron. She walks in Beauty, like the night Of cloudless climes and starry skies; And all that's best of dark and bright Meet in her aspect and her eyes: Thus mellowed to that tender light Which Heaven to gaudy day denies. One shade the more, one ray the less, Had half impaired the nameless grace Which waves in every raven tress, Or softly lightens o'er her face; Where thoughts serenely sweet express, How pure, how dear their dwelling-place. And on that cheek, and o'er that brow, So soft, so calm, yet eloquent, The smiles that win, the tints that glow, But tell of days in goodness spent, A mind at peace with all below, A heart whose love is innocent!

My Blog

I find myself Gracie-tagged

And I am happy to oblige. Ten random "me" things you may not have known (and probably don't care).   1) I was conceived at a frat party at Oklahoma State University. Father unknown, teenag...

Touched for the very first time...

Tell me your first time story. I don't know why, but loss of virginity stories turn me on. It's my favorite part in all those silly Harlequin romance novels. The formula has changed a bit now, no doub...

The Tao of Handling a Woman

I know that I am difficult to handle at times. Keep trying, I'm worth it.   It was said that in the lost Golden Age, people lived long because they were created by the Goddess as hermaphrodite...

Because I so desperately want to be a man...

Yes, I'm busted. And tired of pretending that I don't long to be a man. Today the desire is too much for me and I begin the process that will, in the months to come and before your very eyes, transfor...

What is Love?

I must be insane to tackle this one. There are two pirates to blame--first, a conversation with the Untouchable Object, followed by the serendipitous discovery of Zoe's blogs on the very same subjec...

Sudden Fiction

The ringing of my cell phone woke me; it was 2:00 am. From the ringtone I could tell who was calling before I saw his name and face on the phone's display. Why is he calling me? Answering it seemed li...

I like to use odd things for divination. Today, I turned to my Spam Folder in my email. I guess this would be Spamomancy. I will attempt to divine deep spiritual insight from the spam in my junk ...

What have I become? The Untouchable Object lives a hundred yards from me; his apartment is high above the street overlooking my apartment. Neither of us can see the other's apartment from our own, but...

Memories at Random

My parents were into rodeo in a big way when my brothers and sisters were young. My brother Bobby was a bull rider and his girlfriend was a barrel racer. She made a dress for me once, out of the same ...
