Hi! I am a 33 year old stay at home mom of 5 kids. They are ages 10 to 2. They keep me on my toes!
I have the best husband in the world~He is an electrical engineer-PE and Associate Partner for a firm in downtown Mpls. He is currently working on lawschool applications and hopes to get into Hamline's weekend program or William Mitchell's night program in fall of 2007. He is a '96 graduate of UND and a huge Sioux hockey fan. (Sorry, no Gopher lovin' in this house!)
I am a life long Mickey Mouse collector and love "the ears" to death! My husband will be the first to tell you there is no wall in the house that does not have some sort of Mickey on it (there really are some...).
I am the founder and co-organizer of the Minnesota Women's Small Business Expo and Sale and also the founder and owner of Minnesota Women's Source. We are all about celebrating women in business!!
I also dabble in selling some homemade home decor items and gift baskets. I love to sew, read, do "crafty" type projects and run around with my kids! I also dabble in web and graphic design, am a proud hockey mom and am involved in some school activites.~ We have many pets, I love my furry babies!! I like to spend time in the yard planting and taking care of things and love nothing more than a sunny day with the kids, hubby and critters in the yard doing nothing or everything!
Life has been good to me, even though it has handed me some hard times. My husband, children and friends complete a life that is nothing short of a day at Disney World....

My Interests

I love to sew and do any kind of creative crafty stuff!
I am a lifelong Mickey Mouse collector and love anything with the "ears".

I love to garden~flowers are a passion of mine.
I also love to listen to music!
Going down the Wahm path for almost 10 years has given me the need to help other wahms and women in business!

Three songs on my playlist were songs played in our wedding ceremony..."Could not ask for more" by Edwin Mccain and "Beautiful in my eyes" by Joshua Kadison and "Here and now" by Luther Vandross. "Beautiful in my eyes" was also our first dance song. Those songs still give me goose bumps whenever I hear them!
I have to admit it, I love the '70's music!
I like jazz, country and some '80's, too!
My very favorite artist ever is Trisha Yearwood- I have loved her for years!!

I am also a die hard Chicago fan- I love the OLD stuff!

Movies:

How about any Tom Cruise movie...the ones he made before he went off the deep end!

I also LOVE the Ghost Wispererp I am a long time viewer and lover of As the World Turns, All My Children and Guiding Light....hey we all have our vices, right?

If I did have time, I would read about American History

Heroes:

My hero is my dear friend, Kim, who passed away in February of 2006. She lived her life with such love, passion and faith. She lived only 33 short years but did so much with her time here.
~ Take a minute to educate yourself on Cystic Fibrosis...any support you give is a testament to people like Kim - a TRUE angel both on Earth and now in Heaven.

The song "She's Like A Butterfly" by Martina McBride tells her story perfectly- I gave her the CD for her birthday a few years before she passed away...I told her it would always remind me of her life and her courage.

She lived with "Live Like You Were Dying" as her theme song...
