About Me

Don't pretend to be my friend just to advertise! esp bands!
this is just cut 'n paste from my home sammich at: www.fizzdoll.com
Adam Christian grew up in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, playing guitar with various garage bands. Eventually, while attending art school, he began to experiment with audio recording and expanded his selection of instruments. While spending two years as a designer in New York, he was able to continue adding equipment to his growing studio. Soon after moving back to his hometown, he started Ground Zero Recording (recently renamed Halo) and began free-lance engineering. Still playing with a constantly changing line-up of musicians and working on assorted side projects, Adam finished his first full-length work (Bitter) in 1995 and decided to go solo. His music resonated within the Gothic/Industrial scene and he shortly after landed a spot on 1998's Black Bible compilation. The double length CD One Star to the Head/Thirty Pounds of Sleep came shortly after.
One of Adam's most noticable features is his sense of humor. Around 1997 he engaged in a side project called Fresh Clean Scent. This was basically an alcohol fueled comedy/performance group. Themes included a Hip-Hop version of Brahms Lullaby, Casio keyboard accompanied wine glass playing, effigy destruction and a 45 minute glitch show entitled The Splice Girls.
At the turn of 2000, he moved to Atlanta. While there he attended classes at a U.C. Berkley computer lab and began making the transition to pc based recording. However, homesickness sank in and prompted a return to Pittsburgh. This time he found residence in the Southside area and has been there since. Currently studying Japanese language, Adam hopes to someday visit or possibly even move to Japan. He is specializing in web design and has added many new works of graphic art to his portfolio. Also, midway through 2004 his original Highschool/College band has reunited and hopes to record a CD of more straight forward rock music. Their influences range from bands like Soundgarden, Black Sabbath to the Ramones and Nirvana.
