About Me

I am a staff artist at Wildstorm Entertainment, a division of DC Comics which is owned by Time/Warner. I am currently working on Lost Boys:Reign of Frogs.I started out at Top Cow Productions as a background artist on Witchblade, and Tomb Raider. I did some assist work at Aspen Comics as well, on Soulfire -and most recently wrapped up work at Aspen on Iron and the Maiden(which led me to get hired at Wildstorm).I've worked on New Line Cinemas Nightmare on Elm Street, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Wildstorm's Wetworks in my time as staff artist, and don't intend to stop there! Stay tuned...

My Interests

Right now I'm so busy with work, I enjoy getting the opportunity to spend time hanging out with my wife Beth and my friends...which seems to come in small doses these days

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet Brett Favre,Jack Kirby, and Alfred Hitchcock...Brett Favre is my all-time hero...he was exciting to watch...his ability to improvise...he took risks, and he always looked to be having fun...all around class-act!Jack Kirby was a trialblazer...comicbooks seemed to barely be able to contain the power and imagination he brought to his work...it would be fun to have been able to chat with him about the craft of comics.Alfred Hitchcock is someone who've I've come to appreciate pretty recently...it goes back to me drawing comics...I sometimes struggle with how best to convey something in my work and I always end up thinking about shots I've seen elsewhere that hit that emotion or idea I'm trying to convey...and I always find myself thinking about Hitchcock"s work...he was so good at holding your suspense and creating tension..a master

Music:

Its all about Pelican City and DJ Shadow...lovin that stuff..NIN,Interpol, Kings of Leon,Radiohead,ArcticMonkeys,Eagles of Death Metal, the Walkmen,Tom Waits,White Stripes,Sigur Ros...

Movies:

There will be blood...totally awesome. The Good the Bad and the Ugly,The Incredibles,Intacto, No Country for Old men,Unforgiven...The Conformist(even though I've only seen snips of it...loved what I saw)

Television:

ESPN's sportscenter...nfl network, and discovery channel all day

Books:

Blue Beetle,Walking Dead,Logan,All-Star Superman,All-Star Batman and Robin the Boy Wonder,

Heroes:

Brett Favre...he just has the poise and attitude...he's a leader
