Reality sucks! Every day of the week...point me to the tour bus!!!

About Me

hi I'm Gyom, singer/guitarist from the washington, DC-based Rock band down to this , check out our Myspace page to hear the band's songs!

Other than the band thing which obviously is No1 on my list. I love anything related to graphic design/photography. So if you have a band in need of merch, flyer, T-shirt, website, shoot me an email . or check my portfolio to get an idea.

Also, and I'm dead serious: I'm looking for bands in need of songwritting and /or producing. Rock/pop/accoustic...if you think you 've got it, drop me a line and let's talk :-). here's a few a few samples . I might be busy with the band right now, but I'm looking for a few serious and talented individuals!oh and yeah to respond to "how in hell do you pronounce you name dude?"lol, ok so upon everybody's request: {Ghee-yom}, too hard for ya? call me G!

My Interests

music, photography, writing & reading, graphic design and anything artistic :-).

I'd like to meet:

ok so just on top of my head right now Howard Benson! I just happened to listen to the latest All American Rejects...for the nth time. There's not a bad song on this CD!! And I abolutely love the production/songs of My Chem romance too. Even if the sound isn't on par with the songs...I'd love to meet Butch Walker too for the same reasons.oh and not like I'd want to meet him cuz I already know him, but I'd love to spend more time with our producer Scott Spelbring, this guy is just flat out the best producer in this area, the guys just "gets it". There's is a fine line between producers that can technically help you achieve a great sound , and ones that actually make things interresting, fresh, in the moment, progressive, the constant art of balance/big picture aware is something that is THE most important thing IMO. technical knowledge aside because anyone can get a good sound these days. But only a few individuals can get the best out of you and build upon it!

Music:

this is a hard one, I guess I could list a hundred different bands but what's the point? I like music on a very large scale. I'd say mainly rock for the energy and passion, but I really listen to a lot of different genres of music, everything from Queen, Bowie, Jamiroquai, to Sevendust, My chem romance, the Mars Volta, The Bravery, Interpol, Korn, Killswitch engaged, HIM, Avril Lavigne (yeah I actually think she's amazing)....fuck, if it's good it's good ya know? weather it's pop or hardcore, you can tell when it's genuine/has personality or a certain uniqueness, I guess that's what really gets me hooked. It doesn't have to be uber underground to be cool Nor does it need to be ultra-heavy...we know you're not a wuss, so drop the attitude :-)

Movies:

I just saw Solaris again the other night, what a great movie, it's really just a great love story mixed up in a sci-fi world. one of my favorite. ok that's kinda the pective Gyom speaking... Give me any good comedy, anything goofy, Dumb & Dumber to Wedding Crashers! a few friends and some beer...I'm in!

Television:

dude, I just never watch TV...not that I don't like it, I just never have time with the band, writing , spending time wiv mah geetar :-) Tho I got me season 1&2 of Arrested development and that f'in hilarious! I really dig Sex & the City...does that make me gay?
