Music, writing, beauty, creativity, driving around aimlessly with my camera and stopping intermittently to photograph nothing of particular significance, and having the resulting photo exude a beauty or profundity beyond words, spirituality, meeting new people, Absinthe, late nights, sunrises, sunsets, keeping vampire-esque hours, sleeping late, mellow days, crazy nights, beer (anything but generic American piss), wine (pinot noir, cabernet sauvignon), dive bars, pool, darts, live bands (anywhere, anytime, anyhow and with anyone), spontaneity (makes life interesting and worth living), photography, sushi, seafood, road trips, Lucky Strikes, scotch, vintage clothing, tattoos, piercings, Chuck Taylor's, friends, my dog Jules, family, Dickies, women, love, life.
I really don't give a fuck so long as you have something interesting and worthwhile to say about music, life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness, sex, love, film, photography, the arts, politics, writing, spirituality, religion or any other profound subject matter that I've failed to mention, yet has the potential to inspire, influence or motivate. Oh yeah, and Henry Rollins... Watch this and THINK!
For as long as I can remember, or at least as long as I've had this myspace profile (which are essentially one in the same), I've listed my favorite bands under this category. After much thought, however, I realized that it is not the band which elicits that tingling feeling when a particular song traverses one's auditory canal, but rather the song itself. In that vein (pun intended), the following songs will forever have the aforementioned effect. Not to mention I'll probably end up marrying the woman who has the wherewithal, time and love to dedicate to the creation of a mix tape (or tapes, as this list will inevitably continue to increase over the years) with ALL of the following songs. And yes, I did say "tape." There is something to be said not only for a tape's reminiscent attributes, but also the extra effort required to record songs to tape vs. CD. So, without further adieu:
