About Me

Yo, Brad Ladik (aka B-Rad) (aka Loopy)made his stage debut playing the lead role of "Pinochio" in a kindergarden play. Despite not being able 2 read, singing the songs of the play and memorizing the stage lines came naturally. Brad started playin' guitar(if that's what U want 2 call it) at age 13 and talked alot about forming a band for a long time. It wasn't until Brad started collaborating with Neal Myers that anything of any substance came about. The two went on to form legendary local Leechburg band "Salt of the Earth". Known for their long soulfull shows with a constantly varying set list; the "Salt of the Earth" lineup included Myers & Ladik on guitars & vocals, Joel Shodi ..boards, Eli Bonello on bass & Matt Stasko on drums. The Earth played from Leechburg to everywhere near or round Pittsburgh to Deep Creek, Maryland for over 10 years blending classic rock, funk, soul, R & B, reggae & rap. The band also played some electic originals. While vacationing last year in South America(Chile) B-Rad gained his international musician status while sitting in with Chilean band (The Acoustic Trio). Playin' a 12 string guitar for only the second time in his life he took the band thru a spicy rendition of "Jane Says" & Ladik original "No Retribution" for a surpised & very responsive South American crowd. Last summer the Salt was joined on stage at the Oakmont Tavern by "Rock N' Roll Hall of Famer", Robbie Kreiger of "The Doors"!!! Ace axeman Kreiger lead the band thru numerous "Doors" songs for a frenzied crowd at the bar. Another highlight for the band last year was playing before the Dave Mathews show @ the VIP stage. "Salt of the Earth's" played its last scheduled show this past New Years Eve. Their return is left with uncertainty. B-Rad has since been building up his home apartment studio & working on writing songs. He has been collobarating/working with numerous artists in the area including multi-instrumentalist, singer, producer Brandon Gorelli of "Ruckus & the Trousers", lovely super soul singer producer Nadia Soul, rapper revolutionaries J-Dank & E-Ford, rapper writer Chad Abrams from "New Ken Knucka", and of course old buddy keyboardist Joel Shodi(who is gonna make it with his 1st hit single "Firefly"). Expect more 2 B added 2 da fold. B-Rad has been making appearances @ "The Session House" in Mount Oliver. The songs ur gonna be comin', this is just a 1st sample taste.
