UPDATE: Finally cracked the 3:10 mark as I officially became a sub-3:10 marathoner in my 5th Boston Marathon!I am a veteran of 13 marathons now, and I finally achieved a huge goal of going sub-3:10 in my marathon on April 21st, 2008 (two weeks after going sub-1:30 in my half - watch out for me this summer!) I now out-qualify many of the men that run Boston :) ...Next marathon is Chicago in October 2008, but I have a lot of other events planned in between then. I will be doing the bad-ass 3-day Great Lakes running relay in July, and I intend to hit the trifecta of my running PRs by cracking a 40-min 10K this summer - should be easy after hitting the big ones, right?
- My current PRs (Personal Records) are:
Marathon (Boston 4/21/2008) - 3:07:08 (7:09 pace)
Half-Marathon (Martian 4/6/2008) - 1:27:02 (6:39 pace)
10 Mile (Crim 2007) - 1:08:14 (6:49 pace)
10K (Run Like the Wind 2006) - 40:10 (6:27 pace)
5K - don't really race it, probably ~ 19:30
