About Me

For most of us life is but the gentle clock ticking. For me life is living. A feeling and emotion brushed beauty so simplistic yet so complex as breath itself. I love to live. I live to love. Love is life. Life is love. I am alive. Therefore... I am love... My love is free. If you'd only but reach out both hands to receive it. I am but a simple man. Strong and weak the same. I ask so much yet so little. I give so much but have so little to offer. I am human. Fragile, Broken, Scared, Alone, yet... Perfect. I am the perfect disaster. I am not a unique snowflake made with my own special intricacy's. I am the all knowing all seeing crap of the world. I am God's son. I am... ATLAS-ATLASHmmm wanna know more about me? Well I'm glad youre interested. Born Kris Obinna Mbah in Jos, Nigeria. Spent most of my childhood in London, England. And Lae, Papua New Guinea. During this period I aroused my artistic interests with composition, painting, sculpture, drama, and dance. Discovered hip hop and R & B and fell in love with the musical styles. At an early age I loved being noticed by people for my talent and yearned to be the center of attention. And so I put my best foot forward. With my family always moving I lacked the ability to center my roots so I learned to be adaptive of my surroundings. Now in the great state of Michigan since 1995. I played sports to gain comradery and in turn I gained popularity. I took my talent wherever I went. Showing art at galleries or be it wrestling at meets. Some call it cocky. I see it as embracing my abilities. But I am humble. I am truely thankful for all of Gods gifts bestowed upon me. And so now at the new age of 23. Lookin at life through wiser eyes I contemplate my next step. With college football on the back burner I look for another conquest. Education is the key. Believe it or not. With that paper in your hand. You have qualification. And nobody can take that away from you. But. Common sense isnt common. And you cant get that from a book. You gotta earn it with experience. With one in one hand and one in the other. Nothing can stop you but yourself. Yet I yearn to release my artist talents constantly. So now I write. LOL believe it or not for the fun of it. Hip hop today is so disappointing. The most intellectual artists are shadowed by catchy phrases and booty shakin. Well shit i love booty shakin dont get me wrong lmao. But it doesnt feed the soul. Its not meaningful. So I write. I write about the world. I write about struggle and hardship the world has never seen. And I write about myself. Because when my time is done. I want the world to tell tales of all my glories. In this life or the next. Do you feel me? Come take a walk with me. I'll feed your soul with music that will bring a tear to your eye and the love to your heart. I'll take you there.-ATLAS
