I am a little bit crazy, and have many excuses, but no real sources of reason. Perhaps I'm a pot baby, perhaps it was those paint chips, maybe I fell out of a tree one too many times. I'll never really know. What does it matter anyway?

I grew up more or less in a farming area of New Hampshire. I then went to college there, now I'm living in Maine, in the 'city' of Portland. Holy cow it's too big for me! I've lived in Mass, didn't like the massholes. So I went to New Jersey, didn't like the industrialization. Then thought maybe Rhode Island was an escape, only it turned out I needed escaping from that stupid state!
Maine has always been in my heart. Since I first visited Bar Harbor in 5th grade. So, I intend on staying here, and hopefully affording a house in the woods soon.

I am a graphic designer by trade, an artist in choice. I don't get to do much of either just yet. My job is an attempt to be a furniture finisher for the awesome Utopia Designs Inc. Some day Ty may actually get around to having someone finish that page.

Well, some last tidbits. I am engaged, and have been seeing Chad for 5 years now. I have two cats, and two goldfish. I miss gardening. I miss running. I have a rather pesky back problem, and will be visiting the surgeon soon. I already had one surgery last fall (07), only to have the same issue return! BAH! I love swimming, and used to ski. I like snowshoeing, only we don't get much snow anymore. Stupid changing weather trends.

My Interests

goldfish, lots of animals, especially cats, art art and more art, water gardens, gardening, herb gardens, moss, magnolias, Crocus, pothos, traveling, japan, germany, China's yellow river valley, mythology, reading fantasy, Nature, trees, especially maples and birches, Comics some manga, Montey Python, Pebbles, Spider Plants, Aloe Plants, Sushi, mmmm sushi, cooking things, eating, Forests, Hiking, Swimming, Skiing, Climbing trees, raspberry picking, Blueberry picking, Fog, Ocean, stones, driftwood, neon tetras, cory cats, good movies, the world.

I'd like to meet:

I DO like meeting people, so long as they don't weird me out... which is unfortunately easy.
I want to talk to more artists...
I wish I could have met my great grandmother, I look almost exactly like her, and through my grandmother I'm learning a lot of things she had to teach.
I want to meet more Buddhists.
I would like to TALK to other artists, not simply join a forum, or board and add them as friends. But have real talks.
